Hello from Fairbanks

Drove up to Fairbanks today after going to the Wilderness Woman Contest in Talkeetna. I'm exhausted. We saw Denali and the aurora. We tried to go to the hot springs here but by the time we got there they were closing. Tomorrow we are going to North Pole before driving 7 hours back. The car I rented isn't winterized so I'm going to have to start it every few hours. Always an adventure in Alaska. It's -40 here and is so cold it hurts to breathe.
