I was going to pick fireweed today, but it's been raining and it's chilly. I might go out later if the weather clears up a little bit. One of the benefits of having the sun stay out late is that you can do things outside late!
Today I got some Yup'ik Conversation Lesson CD's at the library. The only words I really know right now are Quyana (thank you), Chama'i [chah-meye] (welcome), and Umi [oo mee] (hurry up). the last one I learned because it's what all the moms say to the kids in the grocery stores or on the plane!
