I've been listening to my Yup'ik Conversational lessons and following along in the phrasebook, repeating words, writing them down etc etc etc. I've found that in a lot of phrasebooks towards the middle they start to get a little..."interesting". This one is no exception. In lesson 8 (Asking and telling names and general dialogue), after Cauga atren Kass-tun? (What is your name in English), I came across this conversation. Who knows, maybe it will be useful?
Kassuusngauten-qaa?
(Are you married?)
-Kassuusngaunga.
(I'm married).
Kassuusnganricukluten. Elpet-mi, kassuusngauten-qaa?
(I thought you were not married. How about you, are you married?)
